How it is Installed

There are two different types of vinyl planks flooring: glue down and floating. Floating Vinyl plank flooring can be installed as a floating floor over virtually any surface such as plywood, particle board, concrete and other subflooring. The wall, moldings are removed or undercut and replaced after installation of the new floor. Glue down vinyl flooding is more economical but doesn't have the flexibility to be installed on as many substrates as it's floating counterpart.
